Clients have lived in this home for over 20 years without any renovations –so this long awaited change was very exciting for all involved! The original layout included a peninsula that cut the kitchen in two and left a very small space for dining. We removed a window over the sink to allow for additional cabinet space, and changed the overall layout to include a large island for dining and prepping! Clients loved the clean lines and all the additional storage they gained with pot drawers, pantry and pullout accessories. We removed old white ceramic tiles and installed a warm wood floor to co-ordinate with the remaining rooms on the main floor. Client walked in and said “Do I live here?” – I knew my work was done!
